The Intersection of Neurodiversity in Black and Brown LGBTQ+ Communities

This course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals within black, brown, and queer populations through a focus on the Intersection of Neurodspicyness in the Black and Brown Population. This workshop is designed to provide attendees with insights into the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals from black and brown populations, and strategies for creating more inclusive environments.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals from black, brown, and queer populations.

  2. Learn strategies for creating more inclusive environments for neurodivergent individuals.

  3. Explore the intersectionality of neurodiversity and identity. Recognize and address biases and stereotypes related to neurodivergent individuals.

  4. Gain insights into best practices for supporting neurodivergent individuals in various settings.

The workshop will take place on January 26, 2024 from [12P to 1P Eastern Time and will be facilitated by T Dyer, LPC, a renowned expert in the field of neurodiversity lived experiences.
